Working Platform Nets

Safety nets complying with EN 1263 net class B1 can be tensed to a walk-on platform. For this, the protective net is placed inside the horizontal opening. Tension belts stabilize the surface and reduce the mesh sag to a minimum. The area created can be used as a working platform in accordance with the Workplace Ordinance. The finished netting construction is called working platform net.

The net must be fastened to the supporting structure at the edge with a maximum of 50 cm with tension straps. In addition, through the net traversal belts are to be threaded in a grid of maximum 2 x 2 m. Here you will find the right net material and the right straps. The network may only be used as a working platform network if all preconditions are met during assembly. Please see our information about the guidelines for working platform nets.

We use it as a hanging net. It stretches a bit more than expected. In the future, I would order it a bit smaller or let them know that it needs to be taut. Otherwise, it's great.
