Safety Nets for Any Requirement

We offer a selection of over 40 safety nets with combinations of ten different material thicknesses of between 1.0 and 6.0 millimeters and 13 different mesh sizes of between 10 and 300 millimeters.

From a 1.5 mm-thick bird protection net or aviary net to a 5.0 mm-thick fall safety net tested by the German Employers’ Liability Insurance Association (BG) in conformity with European Standard EN 1263-1 – here you’ll find the right net, made to measure for every application.

To select the right type of net, you should precisely define the intended use. Safety nets are available in different versions that are designed for specific applications:

Personal protection: Personal safety nets in accordance with DIN EN 1263-1 offer reliable protection against falls on construction sites.
Object protection: Safety nets prevent falling objects from endangering people or causing damage to property.
Sports and leisure: Ball catch nets or safety nets for playgrounds actively protect against injuries.
Animal and plant protection: Nets protect beds, fruit trees or animals from external influences.

Yes, safety nets are made from different materials that offer different properties depending on their use:

Polypropylene (PP): Tear-resistant, lightweight, UV-stabilised and durable. Ideal for people-catching or ball-catching nets.
Polyethylene (PE): High weather resistance and stability, often used outdoors.
Polyester: Very robust and tear-resistant, particularly suitable for heavy loads.
Steel cable nets: For maximum load-bearing capacity (e.g. for property protection).

The choice of material depends on whether flexibility, weather resistance or maximum load-bearing capacity are prioritised.

The minimum and maximum sizes for safety nets depend on the type of net. As a rule, textile safety nets can be produced from a side length of 30 cm. Depending on the material and type of net, nets can be produced for large areas such as construction sites or sports facilities up to several hundred square metres. Limitations usually arise due to transport or installation requirements.

Yes, damaged safety nets can often be repaired if the damage is only minor. Smaller tears or holes can often be repaired with individual cords or by simply tying the meshes back together. However, in the case of major damage that could affect the load-bearing capacity of the net, an assessment by a specialist is necessary. In some cases, it may be safer to replace the net completely. Particular care should be taken with safety-critical nets, such as personal fall arrest nets: Here, a repair is often not sufficient to continue to fulfil the required standards, so replacement with a new net is advisable.

Regular inspections and careful maintenance help to extend the service life of safety nets and minimise the need for repairs.

Fall Safety Net by the m² (Custom-Made)

We had the safety net made for our staircase in the living room. The staircase leads to the lower floor and is surrounded in the upper part by an L-shaped wall about 1.20m high. The net is intended to serve as a safety net in case our 4-year-old son were to climb the wall and fall over 2 meters down the stone stairs to the lower floor. We ordered the net so large that it could be attached to the wall all around with hooks and to the wall on the other side. This means that the staircase is completely protected by a net and no child can fall down there anymore. We are very happy with the net and can live in peace. We will leave the net there for a while, even when our son gets bigger. This also protects visiting children from falling.

The two triangular nets prevent falls from the converted attic room and look good doing it. The assembly with wooden dowel rods was pretty easy and took about half a day. The tools I used were a cordless screwdriver, which can also be used for (pre-)drilling, and a cordless cutting disc to shorten the dowel rods. (The latter could of course also be done with a saw...) When we ordered an additional net for the stair railing, an incorrect measurement had crept into our sketch. The person in charge at Safetynet365 noticed our mistake immediately and reported it back in a friendly manner. Fortunately, we were able to work out the final solution together with the provider and the additional net has now been installed and fits perfectly.Due to our positive experience, we will contact the company again if we need anything else: We are very satisfied with the quality of the nets and the price is reasonable. The production and delivery time of around 3 weeks has not been an issue for our projects so far, as the need was not particularly urgent and therefore fit easily into our planning.

We use the net as a sandbox cover. The net has been in use for a few weeks and has proven itself. It is tightly woven enough to keep leaves, branches, etc. as well as cats away from the sand. It remains to be seen how the net will perform over many years of use...
