Trailer nets, container nets, and cover nets are used to secure cargo and are essential when transporting goods on trailers, flatbeds, or in containers. Securing cargo is not only a matter of responsibility and safety, but also a legal obligation. Unsecured cargo poses a significant risk to drivers, passengers, and other road users.
Cover nets are a flexible and reliable solution for safely transporting a wide variety of goods and cargo—from loose yard trimmings and garden waste to bulky items such as wheelbarrows, tools, or pallets. Thanks to their high load-bearing capacity and versatile applications, cargo nets ensure that the load remains securely in place.
Configure your custom cargo net for load securing now and tailor it precisely to the size of your trailer or container. Discover high-quality protective and securing nets for a wide variety of applications from Safetynet365 – durable, robust, and ideally suited for both professional and private use: for maximum safety during freight transport.

Load-securing nets ensure the safe transport of cargo on trailers and flatbeds. They are ideal for covering and securing light to medium-weight goods, such as garden waste, cardboard boxes, tools or loose small parts, and reliably prevent them from slipping or falling out whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Proper load securing is required by law: According to the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), the load must remain securely in place on the load area even during evasive manoeuvres or emergency braking. If the load is not secured appropriately, the driver and owner of the vehicle face fines and penalty points in Flensburg.

Our tear-resistant and DEKRA-certified tarpaulins offer a reliable solution for securing loads on trailers, flatbeds, in cars or on other surfaces and in loading areas.
Choose from a range of mesh sizes to suit the load you need to secure – we’ll be happy to advise you. The nets are available in a wide range of standard sizes – alternatively, we can manufacture your trailer net to your exact specifications, tailored to your requirements.

Container nets are used to securely cover and secure loads on open containers. Thanks to their flexible structure, the nets adapt perfectly to the varying shapes and heights of the cargo and reliably prevent materials from falling out during transport.
Our container nets are available either with an integrated rubber tension cord for quick fastening or without a tension cord for customised securing. The available standard sizes are based on common container dimensions. For individual requirements, we can also manufacture your container net to exact specifications.

Belt strap cargo nets are ideal for securing loads directly on trailers, vans or lorries. The nets reliably hold particularly bulky, heavy or awkwardly shaped goods in place, thereby preventing them from slipping or falling off during transport.
Thanks to the combination of positional and force-based securing, webbing nets offer a high level of safety – even for loads that are difficult to secure. This protects not only the cargo, but also the driver and other road users.

The belt strap cargo nets that you buy at Safetynet365 are designed for different types of vehicles: so you get special nets for cars, trailers, vans and different sizes of trucks.
To fasten the cargo nets you use belt straps, which are included when you buy the nets. If you need additional tensioning straps or expander ropes, you can order them from us directly with the webbing net.

All our cover and webbing nets for cars, trailers and lorries are made from high-strength polypropylene and polyester. Thanks to their UV and weather resistance, the nets are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With various net finishes and edging options, such as rubber cords, reinforced edges, eyelets or hooks, the nets can be secured flexibly and securely – depending on requirements and on-site conditions.
To ensure reliable load securing, the mesh size of the safety net must always match the size of the load being secured. The smaller the items in the load, the finer the mesh of the net must be.
Always select the mesh size so that the smallest parts of the load cannot pass through. This ensures that the net can fulfil its purpose reliably. If the mesh size is too large, there is a risk that parts of the load may come loose, potentially causing damage to vehicles or injury to people.
Professional fitting and suitable accessories are crucial to ensure that cover and load-securing nets provide their full protective effect. Only correctly secured nets reliably prevent cargo from shifting and help to protect all road users.
Depending on the type of net and its intended use, different securing methods are suitable:
Before every journey, nets, fastenings and lashing points should be checked to ensure they are secure and free from damage. Only proper load securing provides reliable protection against dangerous situations on the road.

Cover nets are used to secure loads on trailers, flatbeds or containers and prevent cargo from shifting or falling off whilst the vehicle is in motion. Depending on the size of the goods being transported, the nets are available with coarse or fine mesh to reliably secure even very small items or bulky loads. Cover nets not only help to ensure road safety, but also help to comply with legal requirements for load securing.
A cover net should always be chosen to be larger than the loading area so that it can be securely fastened and tautened. The correct size therefore depends on the loading area and the type of goods being transported. The net should completely cover the entire load and extend sufficiently beyond all sides so that it can be securely fastened. A slightly larger net is particularly recommended for high or unevenly loaded trailers or flatbeds.
Cover nets are fitted using different fastening methods depending on the vehicle, the load and the type of net:
Depending on the cargo and intended use, there are various alternatives to the traditional cover net. Tarpaulins are used particularly frequently to provide sensitive or weather-sensitive goods with additional protection against rain, dirt or wind. Unlike cover nets, however, tarpaulins are less breathable and often inflexible when used with loads of varying heights.
For heavy or bulky goods, webbing nets or lashing straps are also suitable for securing the load directly. These are primarily used when the load needs to be secured either by form-fit or force-fit. In addition, there are also fixed cover systems or special superstructures for trailers as alternatives to cover nets.
